Teteh BanguraForward Teteh Bangura has been named to the USL First Division Team of the Week for week 24. Bangura made the final team of the week of the season after scoring a magnificent goal in the City Stars 2-1 loss to Vancouver in the season's final match.

With the City Stars trailing 1-0, Bangura saved a pass from midfielder Jason Hotchkin just a yard from the end line and launched it into the roof of the Vancouver net from short distance to even the score at 1-1.

"I'm happy to see Teteh get the nod on the team of the week," said City Stars head coach Rod Underwood. "Teteh came in as a young player and worked hard to show the type of talent that he has and he was successful in the latter portion of the season. Teteh has a bright future in this league and I'm looking forward to seeing his development."

The 19-year old Bangura finished his rookie season in Cleveland with two goals in nine games played. Bangura spent the first half of the season on loan with the Cascade Surge of the PDL where he scored eight goals in seven matches.
